OUR STORY

We first met in residence during our first year at Mount Allison University while isolating on campus in Sackville, New Brunswick. We were both studying commerce, had all the same classes, and quickly became fast friends, study partners, and group project teammates.

After two years of friendship, we realized there was something more there … and the rest, as they say, is history.

Since then, we’ve graduated from Mount Allison, navigated long distance, started new careers, and welcomed our sweet puppy, Harper (named after the residence where we first met).

Now, we’re ready to begin the next chapter of our story, saying “I do” surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.

THE PROPOSAL

On August 30, 2025, Jaden popped the question. We were planning a trip to France & Spain, and Alysha was convinced that’s where it would happen, which made the surprise even sweeter when Jaden proposed a month earlier.

Cold Spring Camp, the Atlantic salmon fishing lodge where Jaden had spent every summer working since we met, had always been our dream wedding location. On a rainy day, when Alysha least expected it, Jaden asked her to “map out our wedding.” As she did, he got down on one knee and proposed in the exact spot where we plan to say our vows (literally).
